Here are answers to questions I was asked. If you have any questions don't hesitate and ask.

Q:  What gave you the idea for the Book of Colours?

A: In 1977 I travelled with my family  from South Africa to Iran on a Greek Tramper. During the Easter week I had a clear and fascinating dream about finding the gate to another dimension - the world of dreams. In this dream on asking where I would find this gate I was given the name of a place. Later searching for the town in an atlas, to my surprise, I actually found it. In following years, however, I never had the opportunity to search this town out, so I decided to use my imagination and write about the journey in a novel which I have called the Book of Colours.

Q: Are the trials and tribulations of Gerald Fitzgerald also based on a dream?

A: No. Some years ago, my beloved brother Theo died and in the same year my two Siamese cats died too. To get over grieving about the terrible loss, I just wrote and The Sorrows of Gerald Fitzgerald were the outcome. During writing the first part the idea for the second part, Geraldus Missa Est came into my mind. Thinking about why I had to write the mass for Gerald, I came to the conclusion that nothing comes to an end. Everything goes on, life, ideas, but in a transformed state.

Q: Why doesn't one find your books in book stores?

A: I tried to find a conventional publisher for the Book of Colours  but none had the courage to publish it. On the point of giving up, I heard about Lulu which provides a platform for people who have no other chance to publish. Books are not edited by the publisher nor censored and are printed on demand - as they are sold. But they are only available at Lulu's.

Q: Do you sell any of the pictures you show on this site?

A: Some of them I have sold, some given away. If you are interested to obtain a picture, just ask me. I'll answer you as soon as possible letting you know whether it's available and how much it costs.
